Construction Management

Construction Management

Construction projects – regardless of size – involve numerous details, and not every owner has the time or experience to manage the process. Baldwin & Shell provides superior Construction Management services to public and private owners alike. We have experience managing everything from single construction projects to multiple project programs on a single campus to projects spread among several sites.

As Construction Managers, we take responsibility for the entire project. Our services span all phases of construction no matter the size or scope.

During the design phase, we provide construction feasibility advice. We work with and assist the owner and architect in the selection of service providers, materials, building systems, and equipment. If we have any concerns about feasibility, you will hear them during the design phase. Then, we work with the architect in determining project scope, budget, schedule and quality.

Before the project begins, we seek out and help to select the best contractors. We provide advice on the division of the work among the various bid packages and assist in the selection of consultants. We prequalify contractors, analyze contractor bids, and make recommendations regarding the performance of the work.

During construction, we keep the project on scope, on schedule and on budget. We also maintain high standards for quality, safety, and risk. We constantly communicate with the owner, architect and contractors during construction. During and after construction, we manage relationships and payments with contractors. Upon completion of the construction process, we follow up with all stakeholders. We stand by our work as construction managers.
