The Immanuel Baptist Church project consisted of two phases.

First, a previous Kroger grocery store was renovated to become the South campus area with a parking lot and landscaping. This south campus, known as the City Center, is a two-story project that houses classrooms, offices, prayer rooms, childcare, storage areas, a warming kitchen, food pantry, dental clinic, loading dock, an elevator, audio/visual room, and auditorium. Notable features include the new entrance elevation and auditorium. The new entry showcases burnished block, storefront glass windows, an overhanging canopy, and aluminum composite panels. The auditorium houses approximately 800 seats, a video wall stage, and operable partition walls to create multi-purpose rooms.

Phase two, the additions and renovations of the North Campus (Main Church Facility), were added. This one-story addition houses the new preschool and children’s classroom areas. The construction of the addition consists of slab-on-grade, structural steel, metal stud framing, split-face CMU exterior block, and pre-cast veneer, single-ply and metal roofing, new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. These renovation areas include adding new kindergarten classrooms and a children’s worship area, along with electrical, mechanical work, and upgrades throughout. Also included are renovations to the existing Cupola to include waterproofing the exterior, replacing existing windows, decking, and roofing the interior, and adding an interior drain to remove any water that may enter the Cupola. Exterior improvements include construction of additional parking areas, expansion of the existing playground area, expansion of the main entry, and addition of a bus lane between the North and South Campus.
