New Alcy Elementary School is Tennessee’s second state‑of‑the‑art “21st Century School,” designed to support modern, student‑centered learning. The 126,537‑square‑foot facility includes more than 30 classrooms, dedicated computer labs, and specialized spaces for visual and performing arts instruction. Shared spaces such as an amphitheater and outdoor dining and teaching areas encourage creativity, engagement, and community interaction throughout the campus.

By prioritizing adaptability and collaboration, New Alcy Elementary School creates a dynamic learning environment that supports a wide range of teaching styles and student needs. The project was recognized as a finalist for the Memphis Business Journal’s 2022 BuildingMemphis Award, highlighting its impact on educational design and community investment.
