We partnered with Lyon College to deliver Arkansas’s first School of Dental Medicine through the adaptive reuse of the former Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield offices at Riverfront Plaza in Little Rock. The project will transform more than 120,000 square feet into a modern dental education and clinical training facility.

The School of Dental Medicine will support hands-on learning through a 100-chair simulation clinic and a 116-chair patient care clinic with pediatric dentistry services. The facility will also include six advanced surgical suites to support comprehensive dental care and instruction.

This project equips Lyon College to train future dental professionals while expanding access to affordable oral healthcare across Arkansas. By revitalizing an existing downtown building, the project strengthens the urban core of Little Rock and supports the state’s effort to address the dental care shortage. Phase I is complete, and Phase II is currently underway.
