Road Runner Convenience Store
Type: Remodel/Renovation | Category: Retail & Mixed-Use | Square footage: 670
The Road Runner Store #10 project in Chenal transformed an existing shell convenience store and fast‑food restaurant into a new prototype facility for future Road Runner locations.
The project involved the demolition of outdated structures and the strategic reconfiguration of the site to support updated operations and branding. As part of the renovation, the former car‑wash area was repurposed into a 670‑square‑foot drive‑thru facility. Key site infrastructure, including existing fuel tanks, fuel dispensers, and the canopy, remained in place and was successfully integrated into the new design, reducing waste and preserving functional systems.
The prototype features high‑end interior and exterior finishes, including terrazzo flooring, Nichiha and ACM wall panels, and linear metal ceiling panels. Exterior accent lighting with advanced lighting controls enhances visibility, aesthetics, and energy efficiency. Together, these improvements modernized the site and established a consistent design standard for future Road Runner developments.
