The Tri Delta Chapter House at the University of Arkansas is a 1930s Tudor-style home.
One of the major priorities of the housing corporation was to preserve the original look and feel of the house, paying homage to the chapter’s 100+ year history in Fayetteville. The original house was expanded to the east and the west, so the decision was made to preserve the original structure through surgical demolition of the east and west wings to make way for a new and improved home. The most important element of the original house was the Tudor arch and windows on the building’s façade. Through laser scanning technology, we digitally captured that façade brick for brick, and will recreate it as if it were never touched. The new home will feature 98 beds and personal study spaces, a beautiful shared common area, a grand dining room, and a veranda.
