Arkansas Business highlighted Baldwin & Shell Chairman of the Board, Bob Shell, in the Business Icons issue. Shell talks about how he entered the construction industry and his 66 years spent with Baldwin & Shell.

Four years after Baldwin Company was founded, Shell applied for a job as a timekeeper even though he didn't have experience in the construction industry. He joined the company in 1950 and due to his hard work, Shell became President of Baldwin & Shell Construction Company in 1983. Shell was President until 2014 when he accepted the position as Chairman of the Board. The Business Icon article in Arkansas Business highlights Shell's leadership, Baldwin & Shell's 70th anniversary, and the relationships that have been built.
