Engineering News-Record announced its ENR 2018 Top 400 Contractors List this May. The Top Contractors list is published annually, and ranks the general contractors, both publicly and privately held, based on construction contracting specific revenue. These results represent the company’s position as a leader in the industry and its continued organic growth in the region.
President and CEO, Scott Copas announced that Jim Minor, a twenty-four-year veteran with Baldwin and Shell Construction Company, has been promoted to Vice President/COO. Minor, who currently resides in Springdale and serves on the company’s board and as Vice President over their Northwest Arkansas Division will make the move to Little Rock to take over the operations of the 71-year-old company.
Nick Copas now leads the firm’s Industrial Services Division becoming the youngest division president in company history. Copas began with Baldwin & Shell in 2003 spending his days as a laborer pounding stakes and installing rebar and his evenings taking construction management and business classes at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
