This is a two-story high school housing a 1,200-seat auditorium, 2,500-seat competition gymnasium, an auxiliary gymnasium, kitchen, dining and common areas, classroom wings, science lab, media center, black box performing arts studio, band room and choir room. The Maumelle High School football stadium is 18,000 square feet and features a synthetic turf field with lines for high school football and soccer. It has a three-story press box that includes a one-level home concourse with restroom and concession facilities. The competition gymnasium is equipped for basketball and volleyball, which features one full basketball court, two cross courts, locker rooms, 2,500 seats, an integrated sound system and two wireless scoreboards. The auxiliary gym includes one full sized basketball court and three cross courts.
The Maumelle High School performing arts auditorium is 17,000 square feet with a seating capacity of 1,200 and stage size of 50’ x 90’. The auditorium was designed to enhance the school district’s arts curriculum. The facility is also built to accommodate a variety of community events. The auditorium is arranged with a cross-over aisle that can be used for intimate performances. The mid-house cross aisle is designed for increased accessibility and camera positions. The auditorium also features fly loft with loading gallery, orchestra pit with pit filler, catwalks, acoustical shell, sound booth, stage craft shop, black box theater, green room and choral and band rooms.
